The mission of the Red Earth Brewers is to promote the education and appreciation of homebrewed beers\, ciders\, wines and meads while at the same time forging relationships with the Oklahoma brewing community. This is accomplished through collective education\, research\, dissemination of information as well as volunteering in all areas related to our craft.

DESCRIPTION:Springtime weather has arrived in Gainesville\, and that means it’s time to get ready for the Hogtown Brew-Off. Ready to test your brewing mettle against other entrants from around the state (and beyond)? It’s on\, so get those fermenters and kettles warmed up and running. Expanding on the success of the virtual competition last year\, we will be doing a hybrid format this year\, with some of the first round competition judging being held virtually\, and the remainder being held in-person at the Hippodrome on May 26-27th. \nThe Hogtown Brew-Off is an AHA/BJCP Sanctioned Competition\, covering all BJCP styles as described in the 2021 BJCP Style Guidelines (we may collapse categories if necessary based on the actual number of entries). This competition is a qualifying event for the Florida Circuit – points accumulated at this event will be counted toward The Florida Brewer and Brew Club of the year.
